2D Marketing Artist | Indie | Asymmetric Co-op Horror

We’re Litio Games, a remote studio developing PARAXIMA, an asymmetric co-op investigative horror game for PC, built in Unreal Engine 5.

We’re looking for a 2D Marketing Artist to help create how the game is presented across social media,
Steam, campaigns, and other promotional materials.

This is not a production concept art role or a position focused only on resizing existing templates. We need
someone who can understand a marketing brief, quickly explore visual directions, and independently turn
existing game materials into effective, platform-ready assets.

About the work

• Create social media graphics, campaign visuals, Steam artwork, YouTube thumbnails, playtest announcements, posters, advertising creatives, and other promotional materials.
• Develop visual concepts using obtained screenshots, character and equipment renders, logos, typography, photobashing, compositing, paintovers, and illustration where appropriate.
• Work directly in Unreal Engine 5 to capture screenshots, extract visual elements, prepare simple scenes, and create renders needed for marketing assets.
• Adapt visual ideas across vertical, horizontal, and platform-specific formats without treating each version as a simple crop.
• Balance atmosphere and visual storytelling with hierarchy, readability, and clear communication.
• Move efficiently between quick everyday content and more developed campaign pieces.

You should have

• A strong portfolio showing marketing art, key visuals, posters, campaign work, promotional graphics, or comparable entertainment-focused projects.
• Strong composition, visual hierarchy, typography, colour, and readability skills.
• The ability to move quickly from a brief and rough exploration to a clear, usable marketing asset.
• Strong compositing, photobashing, paintover, image editing, or illustration skills.
• Practical familiarity with Unreal Engine 5 and the ability to independently prepare or extract materials needed for your work.
• Confidence adapting one direction across different formats and communication goals.
• Fluent English - it is our team language.

Professional game industry experience is welcome, but a relevant portfolio, marketing judgment, and
practical execution skills matter more than a specific job title.

Nice to have

• Experience creating marketing assets for PC or Steam games.
• Familiarity with horror, thriller, paranormal investigation, or atmospheric games.
• Experience preparing advertising variants or social-first campaign assets.
• Basic motion design or After Effects skills.
• Experience working with Blender, 3D render passes, materials, or simple in-engine scene setup.
• Understanding of how visuals need to function across Steam, YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, X, and other platforms.

• You communicate clearly, respond constructively to feedback, and take ownership of your work.

Terms

• Engagement: Ongoing collaboration rather than a one-off commission. The exact weekly scope and availability will be discussed individually.
• Contract: Independent Contractor Agreement - B2B, paid in USD
• Compensation: Discussed privately with selected candidates
