Quality Assurance Intern

The Black Lantern Collective is seeking an organized, proactive, and independent Quality Assurance Intern to join our team. Reporting to the Quality Assurance Lead, the Quality Assurance department is responsible for the overall quality of our titles. Individuals contribute to a world-class standard of quality in our services by conducting various forms of bug testing, tracking open items, and providing insightful feedback. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, results-focused, and takes ownership of their work. This internship is fully remote with the option to work out of our Kraków office.

This internship is open to all applicants. We welcome applications from students undertaking a mandatory internship (praktyki studenckie).

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive manual bug testing, including functional, regression, smoke, performance, and exploratory testing.
• Utilize our virtual workspace and provided tools to create high-quality, reproducible bug reports.
• Track status of submitted bug reports on a daily basis, marking duplicates for review, answering clarifying questions from developers, and following up on open bug reports until they are closed.
• Provide detailed, digestible, and actionable feedback on our titles.

Requirements

• Fluency in English
• Willingness to learn and use industry standard QA practices, processes and tools
• Must provide your own hardware (a PC or laptop running Windows)
