Experienced 3D Character Artist

PixelAnt Games is a co-development, porting, and full-production studio in Wrocław, Poland. We work on partners' games like - Gears of War: Reloaded, Mortal Kombat 1, Forza Motorsport, The Texas Chain Saw Massacre - and we're building our own original IP on Unreal Engine.

Our reputation is delivery: high quality, on time, on budget. Porting and optimization are most of what we have done, co-development is close behind, and we take on partial and full production too.

Responsibilities:
*Create high-quality 3D characters, including anatomy, clothing, accessories, hairstyles, and other character-related assets.
*Translate concept art, references, and creative direction into production-ready character models that meet artistic, technical, animation, and gameplay requirements.
*Build clean, efficient topology, UVs, textures, and materials suitable for real-time rendering, deformation, and optimization on the target platforms.
*Collaborate closely with the Art Lead, Lead Designer, Tech Lead, Animators, Rigging, QA, and Project *Management to ensure characters are implemented accurately and within production constraints.
*Keep work organized and up to date throughout production so that all stakeholders have a shared understanding of character asset status, quality expectations, and delivery progress.

Ideal candidate:
*We are looking for a person with solid professional experience as a 3D Character Artist, preferably with 5+ years of experience in AA+ or AAA studios.
*The candidate should be able to present a portfolio demonstrating high-quality character modeling, sculpting, texturing, material work, and an understanding of real-time character production.
*Experience with industry-standard tools (including ZBrush and Marvelous) and game engines (Unreal Engine 4 or 5) is highly valued.
*Knowledge of anatomy, proportions, deformation-friendly topology, and character pipeline requirements is highly desirable.
*The candidate should be a good communicator, with a cooperative and positive attitude, open to changes arising in the project and to client feedback.
*Communicative level of English and Polish is a must.
