The Tester

Pretty Soon is an indie games publisher on a simple mission: to be the best choice for solo developers and small teams. We are looking for testers to empower our quality assurance effort and help make great games even better.

What we are looking for in a candidate

• 18+ years experience in testing. Kidding ;) What we are looking for is the confidence and instinct in how to test efficiently and present results in a concise and actionable manner.
• Pro-active attitude. Tell us what it means to you :)
• Being tech-savvy; or another way to say independent. Set up and maintain your test environment. Take an occasional technical request from the developer or colleague without panicking

What you will do

• Whatever it takes to assure the quality of the games we publish, but mostly: testing, providing feedback, and reporting.

Nice to haves

• General knowledge of ecosystems game(r)s live in.
• Experience with compliance testing (CQA)
• Znajomość języka polskiego
• Active interest in indie games and their common issues and challenges
• Track record of instrumenting playtests that inform about game usability and accessibility

• If it catches our attention we will reach out to you. A practical test may be involved.
• We schedule an interview.
• We come back with an offer you can’t refuse ;)
