We are looking for a motivated VR QA Tester to join our team and help us develop the best Virtual Reality games possible. You will test both our live products and games in development, while actively contributing feedback and helping improve the player experience.
Responsibilities
- Testing builds and games directly in the engine throughout every stage of the VR game development lifecycle
- Reporting bugs
- Executing test suites
- Suggesting improvements to the game
- Helping manage the project database
- Supporting other teams when required
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of experience in QA
- Ability to spend extended periods of time in VR without experiencing significant discomfort or motion sickness
- Independence and the ability to organize your own work
- Ability to work effectively under time pressure and meet deadlines
- Being an active gamer
- Attention to detail and a problem-solving approach
- Good understanding of the video game development process
- Basic knowledge of hardware (including Virtual Reality headsets) and software
- Good working knowledge of English, as the bug database is maintained in English
- Experience with issue-tracking tools (preferably Jira)
Nice to Have
- Experience with VR
- Previous experience working in a game studio
- Experience with Unity and/or Unreal Engine
