Senior Game Designer

Within this role you will be responsible for:
- Supporting the Lead Game Designer in maintaining clear game design principles across the entire project,
- Owning game mechanics and features and driving them through to final release,
- Working closely with the design team on the creation and implementation of new gameplay mechanics and systems,
- Working closely with other departments to ensure features are delivered to the highest quality,
- Actively contributing to the improvement and design of game features,
- Defending design decisions while remaining flexible enough to adapt to technical limitations, production schedules, and budget constraints,
- Sharing experience with the design team, finding solutions, and providing feedback,
- Maintaining project documentation.
Job requirements
Feel free to apply if you have:
- Senior-level game design experience, including at least one shipped AA or AAA title as a Game Designer or Senior Game Designer,
- 5+ years of professional experience in game development,
- Expert understanding of game balance, economy design, core loop creation, and UI/UX principles,
- Familiarity with Unreal Engine,
- Ability to create and maintain comprehensive Game Design Documents (GDDs), wikis, and feature specifications,
- Ability to take game mechanics from prototype through to final release,
- Ability to rapidly prototype, test, and validate gameplay features,
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills,
- Very good command of English.
It would be also nice to have:
- Passion for the horror genre,
- Experience working with Unreal Engine 5,
- Proven experience in the design and development of third-person perspective games.
