LYNXBYTE Games is a Polish game development studio specializing in console porting and co-development services for PC and console games.

We help international developers and publishers bring their games to new platforms through:

• Nintendo Switch / Nintendo Switch 2 porting
• PlayStation and Xbox development
• Full-development
• Technical adaptation and optimization

Our clients range from indie developers to established international publishers. Over the last year, the company has scaled rapidly, expanded its client portfolio, and started working on significantly larger productions, including AAA-level projects.

About the role

The role is designed around two stages:

Stage 1 - Build & Improve (Together with the CEO)

Initially, you'll work directly with the CEO to understand our current operations, identify challenges, improve processes, and build a scalable delivery organization. Together, we'll establish clear project ownership, financial visibility, quality standards, outsourcing management, and operational processes.
This is a hands-on phase where we expect you to challenge existing ways of working, identify problems, propose solutions, and actively implement improvements. You'll have direct support from the CEO, particularly when it comes to commercial decisions, financial management, and building the operational structure.

Stage 2 - Take Full Ownership

As the delivery organization becomes more structured, you'll progressively take over full responsibility for running it. The goal is for you to become the independent owner of Delivery, responsible for all active projects, the teams executing them, client relationships, quality, deadlines, budgets, and profitability. You'll be expected to make decisions independently, solve problems without relying on constant CEO involvement, and continuously improve the organization. Ultimately, we want someone who can run Delivery as if it were their own business within the company. We're looking for someone who wants to build something, take responsibility for its results, and grow together with the studio.

We're open to two types of candidates:

1. Experienced Delivery Leaders - You've already managed delivery operations, multiple projects, teams, clients, and budgets. You're ready to take full ownership of a growing delivery organization and help us take it to the next level.

2. Ambitious Senior Producers - You're an experienced Senior Producer who has successfully managed complex projects, teams, and client relationships. You may not have owned an entire delivery department or its financial results yet, but you understand the fundamentals, have strong leadership potential, and are motivated to learn.

Responsibilities

Running live projects

• Daily status review across all active productions
• Resolving blockers before they escalate
• Coordination between the producer, teams, and QA
• Owning contractual deadlines and milestone delivery

Client ownership

• First point of contact when a project slips, hits a technical problem, or a difficult conversation is needed
• Running project calls independently
• Making the call on what gets done and how

Budget, margin, and quality

• P&L per project - forecasting, budget consumption, and keeping projects on their target margin
• Early detection of scope creep and escalation when it threatens profitability
• Quality control across delivery

Team leadership

• 1:1s with the producer and QA lead, coordination with outsourcing tech leads
• Resource allocation across projects
• Hiring, performance, compensation, and letting people go
• Driving AI adoption in day-to-day work wherever it measurably helps

Building & Scaling Delivery

• Working with department heads to identify and resolve operational challenges across the organization.
• Designing and implementing scalable processes for project management, QA, outsourcing, and financial control.
• Establishing clear ownership, accountability, and performance metrics across Delivery.
• Building a predictable delivery organization that can grow without increasing founder involvement.
• Continuously improving processes, quality, profitability, and operational efficiency.

What we expect

• Proven experience independently managing complex game development or technology projects, including teams, deadlines, budgets, and client communication. Experience managing multiple concurrent projects or an entire delivery portfolio is a strong advantage.
• Gaming or tech services industry background is a must have
• Direct client-facing experience, including the uncomfortable conversations
• Real commercial literacy - you understand margin, estimation, and why a project quietly becomes unprofitable
• Comfort making decisions and owning the outcome rather than escalating by default
• Working knowledge of porting, remakes, remasters, or full game development workflows is a strong plus
• English at a level where you can lead a call with an international publisher

We offer:

• Base salary + annual bonus pool
• 12,000 - 15,000 PLN gross monthly base, employment structure up to you - contract of mandate, contract for specific work, or B2B
• Participation in the annual company wide profit-sharing program, with an individually agreed percentage of company profits.
