Wordpress & Prestashop Developer

Kinguin is looking to hire an experienced Full-Stack Developer to work as part of our expanding technical delivery team.

We are looking to hire a Wordpress/Prestashop developer. You must have extensive experience working with WordPress and Prestashop, a strong understanding of web standards and best practices, and excellent HTML and CSS skills. In this role, you will support our existing Wordpress and Prestashop websites, develop new ones, create and maintain plugins for both platforms as well work on other web projects. A strong understanding of digital marketing (SEO, SEM, and conversion optimized design) will be necessary to translate business goals into well-designed and optimized web pages.

Job Description:

• Support existing Wordpress and Prestashop websites
• Create new Wordpress and Prestashop websites
• Design and implement new features, enhancements, optimizations and content for existing websites
• Maintain and update website plugins and technologies
• Test and troubleshoot websites on multiple browsers and platforms
• Integrate website functions with third party software and APIs
• Create and maintain Wordpress and Prestashop plugins

Meet the requirements listed below:

• Strong communication skills
• 3+ years experience in web development and web design
• Strong knowledge of WordPress
• Strong knowledge of Prestashop
• Strong knowledge of PHP, HTML5, CSS3, JQuery (advanced), Javascript
• Solid design fundamentals and familiarity with responsive design
• Very good written and spoken English
• Ability to work in a fast paced, competitive environment
• Ability to multi-task and prioritise workload on a daily basis, adapting to changing workloads
