Hi!
We’re Ovid Works, a game development studio behind Interkosmos, currently developing a Kafkaesque adventure/exploration game. We’re looking for an experienced Environment Artist to join our graphic team and help us create beautiful, immersive worlds for this and future titles.
Everyday tasks:
- Modelling complex, stylized environment assets,
- Creating and modelling enviro kits (modular environment elements),
- Mapping and texturing environment assets,
- Collaborating with the art director, level design team and other artists,
- Supporting performance and optimization.
We’re looking for applicants who have:
- At least 3 years of experience in PC/Console game development,
- Solid understanding of game asset creation,
- Strong understanding of form, shape, structure, and silhouette regarding modeling,
- Good eye for light, shade, color, and detail in creating texture maps,
- Basic understanding of technical limitations in modern game asset pipelines,
- Experience working in Unreal Engine 4;
- Additional it’d be great if you had:
- Experience in Substance and Marvelous Designer software;
