Who are we looking for?

We are looking for an Economy Designer to identify, understand and create the motivational drivers in the context of the economy and provide data-informed design recommendations. You don't need to have experience in the gaming industry, but it's important for you to be eager to learn, be a master in analytical and econometrics skills, and last but not least have passion for games and love to play them!

Duties:

• Design, model, monitor and balance game economy systems, to create a fun and engaging game experience and help drive retention and monetization improvements.
• Work closely with the game team to come up with pricing strategies for items, events, and services.
• Create game economy simulations and evaluate their performance & their impact on player experience.
• Recommend rewards and monetization game features to create an economic system to fulfill player needs.
• Manage the economy and pricing of virtual goods, maintaining a balance between free content and paid currency.
• Investigate different macroeconomic models for different segments of users.
• Plan and use A/B testing to analyze the effectiveness of different game economy strategies.
• Share results with the team and company through reports, documents, dashboards, and presentations.

Required skills:

• Strong analytical and quantitative problem solving ability. You enjoy working with numbers, formulas and data analysis.
• Strong sensitivity to gameplay and game design in order to build needs and emotions in the context of a game.
• An in-depth understanding of free to play games and how their game economies work.
• Expert knowledge of the F2P market is a must. You need to play games and be on spot with new titles.
• Fluent in English or Polish.

Bonus:

• Experience in a similar role in the games industry; experience with games, casino games or mobile games strongly preferred.
• Bachelor's degree or higher in mathematics, statistics, economics or a quantitative field.
