Dark Passenger is a game development studio founded by co-creators of the witcher 3 and cyberpunk 2077, based in Warsaw, Poland. We are in search of a talented Environment Artist to help shape the visual identity of our competitive stealth-action multiplayer game set in feudal Japan.

As the Environment Artist, you will play a crucial role in crafting the landscapes and architecture that will immerse players in the rich and atmospheric world full of verticality and breathtaking views. Your responsibilities will extend beyond aesthetics, encompassing a holistic approach to level design, modularity, and the ability to evoke emotions through visual storytelling.

Salary range: 8000-16000 PLN
Bonus: 10% from the sales of the game returns to the Team!
Form of employment: B2B, UoD, UoP


  • Creating drafts and blockouts of locations for competitive multiplayer gameplay
  • Designing small and large, multi-story structures
  • Designing rich and complex environments combining architecture and nature
  • Working on both indoor and outdoor elements of the world
  • Decorating, lighting and finalizing locations


  • Experience in Unreal Engine 5 (good understanding of tools and methods)
  • Ability to build complete locations (from blockout to final)
  • Good knowledge of composition, color theory and lighting
  • Good understanding of 3D level design principles
  • Practical knowledge of physically based rendering (PBR) production pipeline
  • Proficiency in chosen 3D modeling software: ability to create mid-poly game-ready assets (modeling, UV’s, texturing, optimizing)
  • Good communication skills, ability to work in collaboration with others and within deadlines.
  • Proactive, problem solving attitude.

Nice to have:

  • Experience working on First Person Perspective games.
  • Experience working on Multiplayer games.
  • Experience with third-party software tools and plugins
  • Advanced knowledge of Level Design
