At Play of Battle, we’re growing our team and looking for a skilled Senior Unity Programmer to help elevate the player experience in our innovative Grand Strategy/RTS game. This is a great opportunity to make a real impact by working closely with our design team to bring gameplay mechanics to life.

Your Responsibilities:

• Design the game’s architecture in collaboration with the team
• Implement gameplay systems and algorithms using Unity and C#
• Optimize and debug game code to ensure stability and performance
• Support artists and designers with engine-related tasks

What We’re Looking For:

• 3+ years of programming experience
• Strong general software engineering skills (game development experience is a plus, but not required)
• Experience in designing software architecture
• Ability to identify performance bottlenecks and optimize critical code
• Solid understanding of algorithms used in games
• Unity experience is a plus

Preferred Qualifications:

• Familiarity with the Burst Compiler
• Experience with ECS (Entity Component System)
• Knowledge of multithreading
• Experience building mod-supportive architectures
• Shader programming experience
• Willingness to contribute beyond core programming tasks
