Join the Core Team of an ambitious new shooter in Warsaw
We’re Lobah, an international Gaming company building a studio in Warsaw to shape the future of AA games with a soul!
We’re making a fast-paced, story-rich multiplayer FPS — and we’re looking for a passionate Lead 3D artist to help bring our dystopian Arabic inspired world to life.
As our Lead 3D Artist, you’ll join a team of experienced game creators here in Warsaw to shape the look and feel of the game’s heroes, weapons, and environments - defining pipelines, mentoring the art team, and setting a visual benchmark worthy of a world forged in sand and honor.
Responsibilities:
- Work hand in hand with the Art Director and Creative Director to flesh out the vision for an ambitious Battle Royale x Hero Shooter with a twist.
- Lead the 3D art team in the creation of high-quality assets - including characters, environments, props, and animations.
- Establish benchmarks for stylized, gritty visuals that blend tradition with futuristic elements.
- Ensure consistency in art direction and deliver assets in a timely manner while meeting the game’s technical and performance requirements.
- Oversee the entire 3D art pipeline, from modeling and texturing to rigging and final integration into the game engine.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior and mid-level 3D artists, fostering growth and creativity within the team.
- Optimize assets for performance, working closely with the technical art team to ensure that 3D assets run smoothly across all platforms.
- Review and approve 3D models, textures, animations, and shaders, ensuring they meet both artistic and technical standards.
What we’re looking for:
- At least 4 years of experience in a Lead position and 9 years of experience in the game industry.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating stylized or semi-stylized environments, characters, and/or props.
- Expert knowledge of modeling, UVs, baking, and texturing workflows (PBR) in tools such as Maya, Blender, ZBrush, and Substance.
- Experience working in Unreal Engine 5, including material setup, LODs, and asset optimization.
- Proven ability to define and maintain a coherent art style across a team.
- Familiarity with content integration processes and cross-disciplinary collaboration (tech art, design, animation).
- Fluent in English; able to work in an international, fast-moving production environment.
- Ability to work at least partly in the office (Warsaw)
Excellent communication skills.
- Passion for gaming and a deep understanding of the gaming industry’s visual trends and aesthetics.
What We Offer:
- Competitive salary and flexible working hours, with option for hybrid work.
- A tight knit team of seasoned Game Industry professionals with a dead focus on quality - yet who strive to maintain a friendly and open work environment
- A cosy office in central Warsaw
