3D Animator

Hi! Purple Ray Studio is an independent game development studio, composed of a team of several experienced developers. After releasing our first production, Boti Byteland Overclocked, we are focusing on working on a new stylized project.
We are looking for an experienced animator to join our team!

What you’ll do:

• Create high-quality player character combat, human ambient, and creature animations
• Use the UE5 Editor to implement animations
• Create cutscenes using Maya and UE5 tools (Sequencer).
• Work closely with programmers, artists and designers on all levels of production

Ideally, you’ll have:

• 5+ years of experience in the game industry as an animator
• Strong grasp of movement dynamics, anatomy, and physics in the context of character animation
• Good knowledge of keyframe animation in Maya
• Understanding of the animation principles and ability to deliver good quality stylized animations
• Rigging skill
• Knowledge of the Unreal Engine 5
• Knowledge of gameplay animation pipeline
• Good communication in English (speaking and writing - we communicate in Polish and English)
• Proactive and problem-solving-focused attitude

Nice to have:

• Storyboard creation skills
• Procedural Animation knowledge
• 2D animation
• Knowledge of 2D animation software
• Knowledge of After Effects/ Premiere Pro
