We’re looking for a talented and self-driven UI Scripter/Programmer to join our team in Wrocław, Poland. You’ll help to define and implement the UI systems for an ambitious new sci-fi multiplayer survival game. As part of a co-development studio working alongside the core team at Snail Games, you’ll take ownership of in-game UI features - bringing complex systems like crafting, vehicles, and player stats to life through immersive, diegetic interface design.
This position requires coordination and communication in English with global teams based in the US and other parts of the world. You'll play a central role coordinating with the project’s leadership to further develop the UI vision while expanding on an existing UI framework.
Responsibilities
- Own and implement gameplay UI features using Blueprints, UMG, and LGUI - including HUDs and in-world 3D interfaces.
- Build and maintain a reusable UI component library and consistent asset standards (modals, scroll views, fonts, icons, etc.).
- Import and organize large volumes of UI assets, ensuring they’re properly sliced, scaled, and ready for engine use.
- Collaborate with directors and cross-discipline teams to align UI with gameplay goals and player experience.
- Work with designers and engineers in the US and China to integrate UI with game systems and support reliable multiplayer behavior.
- Take initiative in identifying UI issues and driving practical solutions across systems and workflows.
Requirements
- 3+ years in UE4/UE5, with strong Blueprint UI skills and working C++ knowledge.
- Proficient with UMG and LGUI, including building widgets, prepping assets, and integrating UI.
- Experienced in building scalable UI systems and managing large asset libraries.
- Solid grasp of UI’s role in gameplay feedback and immersion, particularly in survival/MMO games.
- Strong English communication and experience working across time zones.
- Self-driven and ready to take ownership of UI features in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

- Familiarity with localization systems and scalable UI architecture.
- Past experience working in a co-dev or multi-studio environment.
- Understanding of networked UI challenges in multiplayer games.
