Technical Artist

Play of Battle is looking for a Technical Artist to join our team and contribute to an ambitious project — a Grand Strategy / RTS game grounded in modern geopolitical and military realities. We're searching for someone who not only understands games from a technical perspective but is also an active player, bringing insights and ideas that can help our game stand out in a competitive market.

Position: Technical Artist

What you’ll do:

• Collaborate closely with artists and programmers,
• Develop tools to support the art team and help automate creative processes,
• Create and maintain tools for procedural content generation,
• Research, build, and maintain efficient art pipelines,
• Ensure content is optimized and consistent across the game.

Requirements:

• We're looking for someone who has:
• Experience working with Unity and Houdini,
• Experience developing tools for artists,
• A solid background in procedural content generation,
• Familiarity with creating and managing content pipelines,
• Experience in performance profiling and identifying bottlenecks,
• A strong understanding of graphic rendering principles,
• Excellent communication skills — you’ll be collaborating with various departments,
• A problem-solving mindset and proactive attitude,
• At least 2 years of relevant industry experience.

Nice to have:

• Strong passion for strategy games.
• Knowledge of VFX creation.
• Strong artistic skills in areas such as modeling, texturing, or lighting.
• A genuine passion for video games.
