About Us

Tate Multimedia is a Polish independent video game publisher based in Warsaw, best known for Kao the Kangaroo. For 25 years, our mission has been to bring unique and exciting titles to gamers worldwide, support talented developers, and deliver polished, engaging experiences on PC and consoles. We're currently seeking a passionate Quality Tester to join our team and help ensure the highest quality standards for our games.

Your Role

As a QA Tester, you will be responsible for testing games throughout their development and publishing lifecycle. You will identify, report, and track issues, ensuring our titles meet technical, functional, and gameplay quality standards before release. This is a part-time, flexible position. We need you in the office 2-3 days a month, with remote work the rest of the time.

Key Responsibilities

• Test PC and console game builds for functionality, performance, and compliance.
• Identify, document, and track bugs clearly and accurately.
• Collaborate with producers, developers, and external QA partners to resolve issues.
• Perform regression testing to verify fixes.
• Provide feedback on playability, balance, and overall user experience.
• Ensure compliance with platform certification requirements (Sony, Microsoft, etc.).
• Contribute to improving QA processes and best practices.

Requirements

• Experience in software or game QA testing.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to write clear, concise, and reproducible bug reports.
• Familiarity with bug tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, Mantis, or similar).
• Understanding of game development and publishing processes.
• Good communication skills in English (written and spoken).
  
• Passion for video games and a broad knowledge of game genres.
  

Nice to Have

• Experience testing console games (Xbox, PlayStation, Switch).
• Knowledge of certification/submission processes.
• Previous work with indie or AA game projects.
