UI Programmer

Donkey Crew is looking for a UI Programmer to join our international team, based in the beautiful city of Wrocław, Poland. If you are enthusiastic about making great PC and Console games in an inspiring and growing environment, and you want to work on our exciting open world title Bellwright made with Unreal Engine 5, this is the job for you!

Responsibilities:

• Implement and maintain UI features in Unreal Engine (widgets, menus, HUD elements)
• Build modular, reusable UI components using C++ and UMG
• Work closely with UI/UX designers and artists to translate designs into functional UI
• Extend and improve existing UI systems
• Debug and optimize UI performance and resource usage.

Requirements:

• Professional programming experience
• Good proficiency in C++ and Unreal Engine 5 programming
• Practical experience building UI with UMG and C++ heavy logic
• Understanding of UI performance considerations in Unreal
• Strong debugging and problem-solving ability
• Ability to write clean and maintainable code
• Good English communication skills.

Nice to Have:

• Experience with cross-platform UI (PC & consoles)
• Familiarity with multiplayer-related UI data flows
• Experience with Enhanced Input
• Knowledge of UI animation systems and materials.
