Junior UI Programmer

Your daily tasks:

Implementation of UI in Techland's newest games, in particular you will:

• Collaborate with UX/UI designers, artists, and gameplay teams to implement UI features for our games
• Contribute to the development of UI systems as part of the team
• Work with and extend our proprietary UI framework with guidance from senior developers
• Debug UI issues and help improve performance, responsiveness, and stability
• Iterate on and improve UI features based on feedback
• Learn and grow under mentorship while working on production code

Qualifications:

• Good knowledge of C++
• Understanding of fundamental algorithms and data structures
• Basic understanding of math used in games
• General understanding of how games are built and structured
• Interest in modern games and UI/UX trends
• Strong motivation to learn and grow as a game developer
• Ability to solve problems independently, asking for help when needed
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Good command of English

Nice to have:

• Experience in game development (personal, academic, or commercial), especially UI-related
• Experience working on UI features or small-to-medium UI systems
• Experience collaborating with UX/UI designers
• Interest in performance and willingness to learn profiling and optimization techniques
