I'm the former founder of Turbine, which made MMO games including Lord of the Rings Online, and was bought by Warner Bros. for $160 million.

Now my friends and I are making an AR mobile walking game in Warsaw with a big Hollywood franchise. (It's a secret, but it's one of the big ones, like Harry Potter or Star Wars.) Our advisors include former Lucasfilm COO, Blizzard President, and PlayStation CEO. We do it Mission: Impossible style with insane happy energy!

We are hiring a community manager both for online (social media, newsletter, Discord) but also to reach out in person to local Warsaw hobby clubs. We're making an outdoor walking game. Let's get some clubs to start walking, even if we need to pay influencers at first.

Top level salary. Part-time but could become full-time. We invest in people to be creative and invent the future. We plan to grow 3x in the next year, giving you much more responsibility than other employers to prove yourself and move up!

Responsibilities:

• Write and post to social media, in English
• Choose or make great images and video from gameplay recordings and real people playing
• Contribute ideas to improve marketing and community growth
• Extroverted person who works well with local hobby clubs and can get players excited
• Responsible for a small budget to buy food, pay influencers, promote on social media.

Requirements:

• Personal energy and loves to have fun and share that with others
• Strong background with hobby clubs and outreach
• Fluent in Polish and English
• Enthusiastic for the future of AR walking games -- Pokemon Go enthusiast?
• Able to work independently and take ownership of outreach with minimal oversight
• Good communicator who understands what a crowd of people needs to have fun
• Organized, can take feedback from players to report bugs or make gameplay smoother

Bonus Skills:

• You already run a creative hobby club adjacent to video games or roleplaying
• Marketing experience
• Able to edit images or video for outreach
• Large personal network of game-players
• Professional video game experience with communities online
• Professional experience running a summer camp or organizing clubs in person, in real life

We prefer B2B contracts but other types are fine. We value diversity, and have hired many immigrants into Poland. (But notice that this job requires speaking Polish.) We are open to consulancies but would prefer to hire individuals.
