Remote - strong preference for English-native or fluent (best for US timezones)
ReadyM is a platform that layers community multiplayer onto single-player games - like FiveM or Spigot/Bukkit in Minecraft, but for any title. Our first integration, WukongMP, brought co-op and PvP to Black Myth: Wukong and generated 16M+ organic views and 150K+ play sessions. Our next major integration, OblivionMP, brings full community multiplayer to The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered, with a full SDK for server owners and builders launching in Q2 2026.
We're a small, fast-moving team backed by Sony Innovation Fund, London Venture Partners, and Lifelike Capital. The communities around our products are central to everything we build - which is why this role matters.
You will be the voice of ReadyM's English-speaking communities across WukongMP, OblivionMP, and future game integrations. You're the person players talk to, the one who keeps Discord healthy, moderates fairly, surfaces community feedback to the dev team, and helps turn a growing audience into a tight-knit, self-sustaining community.
This is not a ticket-closing support role. It's a culture-building role. You care deeply about the games we support, you understand what modding communities want, and you have the judgment to handle conflict, misinformation, and hype cycles without needing to be hand-held on every decision.
Shift Note: This role is specifically designed to cover the US Evening Peak (19:00 – 24:00 US Time). Since our core team will be offline during your shift, this role requires exceptional independence and the ability to make judgment calls without immediate supervision.
Day-to-day community management
Own and moderate the OblivionMP and WukongMP English Discord servers - keep them active, welcoming, and on-topic
Monitor and engage across Reddit (r/oblivion, r/ElderScrolls, r/OblivionRemaster and equivalents for WukongMP), X, and YouTube comments
Be the first responder for community questions, bug reports, and feedback - triage and fast-track to the dev team where needed
Keep the community informed on development progress through regular posts, pinned updates, and FAQ maintenance
Content and campaigns
Help plan and execute announcement drops, sneak peeks, and dev update posts across all channels
Draft platform-native community copy (Discord announcements, Reddit posts, X threads) in ReadyM's voice
Coordinate community events, polls, early access campaigns, and server owner recruitment drives
Support cross-posts and synchronized drops across WukongMP and OblivionMP communities
Server owner and builder support
Be the primary point of contact for server owners and SDK builders in Discord
Maintain and update the #faq, #guides, and #server-owners channels as the platform evolves
Gather structured feedback from the builder community and relay it to the dev team with context
Moderation
Enforce community rules fairly and consistently - friendly first, escalate when necessary
Manage the moderation team (volunteers / mods) as the community scales
Handle conflict, harassment, ban appeals, and misinformation calmly and with good judgment
Must-have experience
2+ years managing a gaming community, Discord server, or game server project with 500+ members - modding community, multiplayer server, guild, or similar
Hands-on moderator or community lead experience: you've handled real conflict, made tough calls, and kept a community healthy through difficult moments
Strong written English - you write the way real people talk
Working knowledge of Discord administration: roles, permissions, bots, channel structure, community features
Strongly preferred
Prior experience with multiplayer mod communities: FiveM, Skyrim Together, Hogwarp, altV, or similar
Genuine familiarity with The Elder Scrolls franchise - you know Cyrodiil, you understand why this community cares
Experience as a server owner or builder on a community game server project
Familiarity with Reddit community management and the culture of TES / modding subreddits
Understanding of game modding pipelines and what server owners actually need from a platform
Experience running or supporting community events, tournaments, or early access programs
Bonus
Background in content creation, streaming, or video production in the gaming space
Experience with WukongMP, Black Myth: Wukong, or Chinese gaming communities
Scripting or basic development background - understanding what SDK builders are working with
A real stake in shaping one of the fastest-growing multiplayer mod ecosystems in gaming right now
Early involvement in OblivionMP's Q2 2026 launch and everything that follows
Private medical care and Multisport card.
Freedom to run the community your way - we give context
Competitive compensation discussed based on experience and commitment level
Remote, flexible, and async-friendly working environment
