Requirements:

✔️ 5+ years in game QA with progressive seniority from QA Lead to QA Manager.
✔️ Proven track record of shipping at least two PC/console titles, including full certification cycles with at least two platforms (PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo).
✔️ Direct hands-on experience with console certification (TRC/TCR/Lotcheck) - you have personally led submissions, handled rejections, and shipped patches under platform-holder rules.
✔️ Experience testing simulation, physics-heavy, or multiplayer titles; understanding the specific failure modes of vehicle behaviour, netcode, and session stability.
✔️ Hands-on experience in test automation - including functional and performance tests in Unreal Engine 5 using Blueprints.
✔️ Strong understanding of QA methodologies: test planning, risk-based testing, regression suites, bug triage, and release readiness criteria.
✔️ Experience managing both internal QA teams and external QA vendors; scoping, SLAs, and quality control of outsourced testing.
✔️ Exposure to PEGI/ESRB compliance, accessibility standards, and platform-holder relationships.
✔️ Track record of running release management for premium titles: release calendars, go/no-go decisions, patch and hotfix processes.
✔️ Experience with post-launch quality: live patch cycles, player-reported issue triage, and telemetry-driven bug prioritization.
✔️ Strong interpersonal skills; able to hold development teams accountable on quality without becoming the studio antagonist.
✔️ English at B2/C1+ level for direct communication with publishers and platform holders.
✔️ Genuine interest in simulation, vehicle, and multiplayer games.

Nice to have:

✔️ Experience testing simulation or driving games - familiarity with physics edge cases, wheel/input device compatibility, and performance on console hardware.
✔️ Background in multiplayer QA: session testing, matchmaking stability, latency edge cases, and cheat/exploit testing.
✔️ Familiarity with Jira, Xray, TestRail, EazyBI, or similar bug tracking and test management tooling.
✔️ Background in QA automation in Unreal Engine 5 environments.
✔️ Experience setting up a QA function in a scaling studio.

Responsibilities:

✔️ Lead the internal QA team; hiring, day-to-day management, workload distribution, and performance reviews across projects.
✔️ Manage external QA vendors: contracting, scoping, SLAs, and ongoing quality control of outsourced testing efforts.
✔️ Own console certification end-to-end: TRC/TCR/Lotcheck compliance, submission planning, handling rejections, and managing platform-holder relationships on quality matters.
✔️ Run release management: release calendars, go/no-go decisions, patch planning, and hotfix processes in coordination with the Head of Production & Quality and publishers.
✔️ Define and maintain quality standards across the studio: severity frameworks, definition of done, regression strategies, and quality gates.
✔️ Own test automation within the QA team - building and maintaining functional and performance test coverage in UE5 using Blueprints.
✔️ Own post-launch quality for live titles: patch cycles, player-reported issue triage, telemetry-driven prioritisation, and publisher quality SLAs.
✔️ Partner with discipline leads to ensure testers have the context and tools they need; physics, multiplayer, and vehicle systems require close collaboration with design and engineering.
✔️ Build and maintain QA reporting dashboards in collaboration with the tech team.
✔️ Report to the Head of Production & Quality and contribute to studio-level quality discussions.
