Slitherine has a catalog of over 300 titles for all formats and works on games from small indie titles up to #1 selling multi format big branded products. Some of Slitherine’s licensing partners include Universal Studios for Battlestar Galactica, MGM for Stargate, Sony for Starship Troopers, Skydance for Terminator and Games Workshop for Warhammer 40,000. Slitherine also supports NATO and its allies with its wargaming software for training and analysis purposes.

We are looking for a 3D Artist to join our creative team on the Warhammer 40,000: Battlesector project.

Job Description: Preparing 3D assets intended to populate maps, in accordance with the provided references. You will work closely with artists and programmers to ensure the smooth implementation of assets into the game engine, optimizing performance and maintaining high visual quality.

Responsibilities:

• Creating environmental assets based on the Warhammer 40,000 IP.

• Creating assets that consist of buildings or other architectural elements.

• Optimizing assets in accordance with the guidelines.

• Ensuring asset consistency with the guidelines.

Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience as a 3D Artist in the gaming industry.

• Proficiency in industry-standard software such as Maya, Blender and Substance 3D Painter.

• Strong ability to recreate objects accurately based on references.

• Experience with the Unity engine.

• Understanding of performance profiling and optimization techniques.

• Good verbal and written English as you will be working with an international team across many countries.
