CG Lead

About us

At BONES, we combine cutting-edge technology with a deep understanding of human movement to power the next generation of digital experiences.

We've had the privilege of co-creating high-budget AAA productions, prestigious film projects, and conducting research into the nature of motion.

Our work extends beyond traditional animation. Our flagship achievement is creating the world's largest human motion dataset, which we continuously develop, refine, and license to some of the biggest technology companies in the world.

Today, BONES is redefining how machines learn to move, providing the data that trains digital humans and soon, robots that coexist with us in the physical world.

We're growing fast, and we need someone to help us build a team and culture as ambitious as our mission.

That's where you come in.

Who we're looking for

We're looking for an experienced CG Lead to take ownership of the asset and scene assembly pipelines that sit at the heart of everything we deliver. You'll be the person responsible not just for building these pipelines, but for the quality of what leaves our studio, and for pushing that quality higher over time.

You should have a strong VFX background, deep knowledge of 3D assets and production workflows, and the instinct to spot where a pipeline can be made more robust, more efficient, or more anatomically accurate. If you like owning both the technical architecture and the final result, this role is for you.

Your responsibilities

  • Own the asset and scene assembly pipelines, designing, building, and maintaining them end to end
  • Ensure the quality of assets and assembled scenes we deliver to final clients
  • Continuously improve output quality, whether by adding new layers of modality or by modifying existing pipelines to achieve better anatomical correctness in animations
  • Establish and maintain standards, guidelines, and best practices for asset production and scene assembly
  • Collaborate closely with animation, motion capture, R&D, and production teams to align technical solutions with project needs
  • Identify bottlenecks and technical gaps, then propose and implement solutions

Requirements

  • Solid VFX or Gamedev experience, ideally including significant work on asset and scene assembly pipelines
  • Strong knowledge of 3D assets and production workflows (modeling, texturing, rigging, lookdev, scene assembly)
  • Ability to independently develop tools to support and automate production workflows
  • Proven experience building and maintaining production pipelines
  • A quality-first mindset with a sharp eye for anatomical correctness and overall fidelity
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to design solutions from scratch
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work efficiently within a team
  • Fluency in speaking and writing in English

Nice to have

  • Scripting skills (e.g. Python) for pipeline automation and tooling
  • Knowledge of motion capture technology and workflows
  • Interest in AI-driven approaches to animation and asset production

What we offer

  • Work with a team of the best 3D specialists
  • Work in a unique, highly specialized studio full of modern technology
  • Collaboration with the biggest players in the technology market
  • Attractive salary based on skills and experience
  • Umowa o pracę / employment contract or other form if preferred by the candidate
  • Additional quarterly bonuses
  • Flexible working hours
  • Participation in industry conferences and events
  • Individual development budget
  • Private healthcare
  • Multisport card
  • Excellent coffee

If you want to develop in the world of 3D animation and join our team, send us your CV and portfolio, and tell us why you think you're the ideal candidate for this position!
