Rigger

Wojan Studio is looking for an experienced Rigger to help build and maintain character rigs for our upcoming 3D animated feature film.

We are currently assembling an animation team at our studio in Warsaw, Poland. Joining our team offers a unique opportunity to help establish the technical foundations of an ambitious animated production from the ground up while collaborating with artists, animators, and technical specialists across all departments.

We're looking for candidates from Junior to Senior level, with several open positions currently available.

This is an on-site position based in our Warsaw, Poland studio, with hybrid work options available.

Responsibilities

• Create character rigs, paint skin weights, and support animators in Maya.
• Solve technical challenges across assets, animation, and shot production in Maya.
• Work closely with Leads and Animators to identify and address production needs.
• Contribute to pipeline decisions from pre-production through final delivery.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience as a Rigger, Technical Animator, or in a similar role within animation or games.
• Strong understanding of character rigging and the technical aspects of character animation in Maya.
• Professional working proficiency in English.

Pluses

• Credited on at least one released animated feature film, TV series, high-end game cinematic, or other large-scale visual production in a technical role.
