Dark Passenger is an independent game development studio, founded by the co-creators of The Witcher 3, Cyberpunk 2077, and numerous indie titles. Our mission is to craft captivating, long-lasting multiplayer experiences that inspire and engage new generations of players.

We invite you to join us in creating a fresh and edgy multiplayer stealth-action PvPvE game set in the turbulent era of feudal Japan, featuring intense first-person combat, and a complex parkour-inspired movement system. Designing and prototyping multiplayer levels, including drafts and blockouts for competitive gameplay
Creating immersive environments that blend architecture and natural elements, both indoors and outdoors
Building small and large-scale structures, including complex, multi-story designs
Populating locations with existing assets such as meshes, decals, interactive objects, and NPCs
Decorating and lighting scenes to establish atmosphere and enhance gameplay experience
Optimizing locations for performance and resolving technical issues as needed
Collaborating with production and design teams to iterate on levels and achieve high gameplay quality
Researching and referencing visual materials from both real-world and in-game sources to support environment design.
Solid experience with Unreal Engine 5, including strong understanding of its tools and workflows
Ability to independently create complete game environments - from initial blockout to final polish
Strong grasp of 3D level design principles, with excellent sense of scale, proportion, and composition
Artistic eye and aesthetic sensibility, with attention to detail in both architectural and natural settings
Practical knowledge of the PBR (Physically Based Rendering) production pipeline
Proficiency in 3D modeling software, with the ability to create mid-poly, game-ready assets (modeling, UV mapping, texturing, and optimization)
Effective communicator with strong teamwork skills and the ability to meet production deadlines
Proactive mindset with a problem-solving approach and ability to work independently
Experience working on First Person Perspective games.
Experience working on Multiplayer games.
Experience with third-party software tools and plugins
Advanced knowledge of Level Design
