UI Graphic Designer

We are Chronospace – creators of the games Aviators and The Cyphers Game. We are currently working on an ambitious project, War Mechanic – a game that combines exploration, survival, and simulation elements in a unique dieselpunk style. Our studio is based in Sopot with office in Gdynia and consists of a team of young, talented, and creative individuals. We are looking for a talented UI Graphic Designer to join our team and help us develop high-quality game titles.

Responsibilities
Design game UI/UX (screens, HUDs, menus, systems, style guides, mockups, prototypes)
Create icons, pictograms, and assorted 2D assets (props and interface elements)
Build and maintain a design system (components, states, grids, typography)
Collaborate closely with design and engineering to implement UI in Unreal Engine 4/5
Ensure quality, readability, and performance across resolutions and input methods

Desired Skills and Experience
Requirements
2 years of experience in a similar position
Ability to design attractive and intuitive user interfaces for various game elements, such as menus, HUDs, and interactive in-game elements
Proficiency in creating mockups
Capability to design the vision and artistic direction of the game based on provided source materials
Skill in analyzing similar games to prepare references
Experience in creating prototypes, testing, and optimizing UX
Extensive knowledge of current gaming trends and solutions
Attention to maintaining visual consistency and UI aesthetics

It’s Nice But Not a Must
Proficiency in 2D Animation programs (like Adobe Animate, Spine, Adobe After Effects etc.)
Experience in illustration creation
